For my Momma....

It's astonishing to me the number of really thoughtful, interesting posts I write in my head when I'm nowhere near a computer. Then when the computer is around I've forgotten everything. Oh well. =D

Andrew has taken up fencing, and thus far LOVES it. He has his first tournament on Saturday - that should be interesting, as he will have had only four or five lessons by then. =D

I promised my Mum I'd put up fencing pics, so here they are. Enjoy. =)

Bonus! =) Ben made a Wavves pic, and Emily made a decadent peanut butter pie. =)

Elder Nicoll posted a wonderful story about a young triathlete who helped competed with his disabled friend. Oh my, it made me cry.

We've been having lovely weather lately - beautifully cool in the early mornings, so great for running, heating up to about 85f in the afternoon. Unfortunately our air conditioner is broken soooo it's a tad bit uncomfortable and currently my feet are red, swollen and throbbing, and my rings fit on my finger now instead of falling off every chance they get.

That pie looks Amazing. With a capital "A". Love the fencing pix too.

I found this wonderful low tech invention so I don't forget my interesting ideas away from the computer: Pen and paper. :o) Seriously, keep them everywhere to jot down notes. My best ideas come while I'm waiting for my daughter to come out from work.

Peace and Laughter!

Is he doing sabre? Hubby did it for a bit a couple of years ago. I loved watching it!

I'm pretty sure I've never known anyone, child or adult, who has fenced. Now I do! :) He looks adorable in that little mask.

Um, I think I just gained about 8 lbs looking at that PB pie...omg that looks awesome!!

Nice here in Denver, too...but man this wind will not leave. Grrr.

I know what you mean about mental blogging. Great pix of your young man - and I blame that pic of the PB Pie for any weight I may gain herein. ;)

Thank you so much for all your comments. =)
Cristina - I carry a pen around with me everywhere - but not paper. Maybe I'll start doing that. =D
Juanita - Yes, he's doing sabre.
Mum and Dad - I really hope your weather is good this week, with Chris and Gordon being there.
